Downloaded a channel dump yesterday for the Eurovox 1000ls, would this work the same on the EX5000?

No I wouldnt put these on a clone. Most clones have a silver heatsink on the CPU and some other smaller differences. However I have heard of clones of the 1000SL that look exactly like the genuine article.
If you buy it and its a lot cheaper than the market price is usually also a good indication.
