I have tried all the zip files and when I get the boot.dol, my screen goes black and it freezes. Yes I have a lu64* serial. Am I missing something?

I am simply trying to load the bannerbomb when this happens. Boot.dol comes up and then the problem starts.

What application are you trying to boot with bannerbomb?

Bannerbomb is just an exploit not a application. The boot.dol is the application. What is it?

the boot.dol is from the bannerbomb zip file. Has worked on all other wii's. I have tried all the other bannerbomb zips with same issue. I am in the beginning to get homebrew installed. So it's not paticular app that is doing it.

I have never come across a dol file included with the bannerbomb download.

Where are you downloading it from?

The boot.dol file has to be some other application other then bannerbomb.

So it is kind of hard to help when you don't know what application the boot.dol is that your trying to boot.

hmm. Maybe it's me then? I thought all I needed was this:

http://bannerbomb.qoid.us/

There is no boot.dol, so what boot.dol should I use? I did what they did on that page for the boot.dol

Download aad1f_v108.zip from that page and extarct it. Now place the private folder in the root of the SD Card.

Download this installer HERE and rename the Installer.elf to boot.elf (not boot.dol) and place it in the root of the SD Card.

Now perform the bannerbomb exploit to launch the Hackmii installer.

Now install the HBC from the installer list.

After you install the HBC exit the installer and continue with the LU64 softmod guide.
