I borrowed a bunch of backups from a friend of mine. They are all already burned (with imgburn). Now i want to get the iso from this backups to burn my owns.
So witch software should I use? Imgburn or CloneCD?
I tried cloneCD. Then used Imgburn to burn the iso into a new dvd. It worked, but the loadings became like 15 seconds longer.
Should I use the Imgburn instead or was this just badluck?
u have any idea why imgburn has 2 speeds when reading ?
If your DVD drive supports different speeds, but I'm not sure why it says 2.4x/2.4x or MAX/MAX. Maybe a default option if the drive doesn't like the first speed set. I'm not for sure though.
The first read speed is for data discs. The second is for audio discs. ImgBurn pops up tooltips saying this if you leave the mouse pointer over the buttons for a second or two.
You should be fine with the read speed set to MAX. If the ISO you created gives a bad CRC but the burned disc checks out just fine, then you might want to try a lower read speed, but I've made quite a few backups of backups and never had a problem with MAX.

Do you mean that the game took 15 seconds longer to load with the copy you made? The most likely reason for that is a poor quality burn. There could be errors on the disc that are not bad enough to stop the game from working, but they will cause the drive to work a little harder to read the disc. To check this, try scanning both discs for errors with something like Nero CD-DVD Speed or Opti Drive Control. If yours looks much worse than your friend's burn, then that's likely to be the cause. If you're using inferior quality blank discs compared to your friend, that could be the cause of your bad burns. If you're not, it's probably your burner, the burner's firmware (try looking for an update), or the burn speed you're using.
