The prices look decent. I had to convert it to USD to make sure. The SATA drive that is 21.99 would be 36$ USD which is cheap. So I'd say it is legit.

A major misconception in the xbox modding community is that you need a kreon drive to rip games. This is so so wrong.
Follow this guide, http://www.xbox360iso.com/showthread.php?t=31558
All you need to do is take apart a dual layer DVD burner. It's piss easy and takes 2 minutes. Also rather than using the blue-tac method to hold the disc down, I just removed the side clips from the plastic casing of the DVD Burner so I could easily just slide on and off the top.
So, I put in a large DVD movie with the top on (and a weight ontop to hold it down a bit more),
Run WXRipper and follow the steps to get the magic key (in that guide),
When you stop the disc simply remove the top metal bit of the dvd casing,
Swap the discs without ejecting,
Start the disc and dump the .iso onto your computer!
done!
So damn easy.. You seriously don't need a kreon drive.

yea and then you completely left out the most important part that your game will not have any of the necessary files in order to play it so you HAVE to run it through agbx to stealth patch it. or you could just spend the 30 bucks on a kreon drive and be done with it. then all you have to do is copy the game and burn it, and play it. a lot easier, and a lot less of a chance of getting banned over some stupid winxripper method.

Well in order to see what you posted, you have to be a member of www.xbox360iso.com.
And not everybody is wanting to take their DVD burner apart so you can swap out disc each time you want to copy a game. I guess it is all about preference.
Personally, I would get the Kreon so I didn't have to go the extra steps just to copy a game. With the Kreon, just put the game in and click copy.

It's all in that guide mate... stealth patching is a sinch anyway, basically open the app, enable a few setting and click patch. You would seriously need to be an idiot to buy a kreon drive just to save a few simple steps. :)

i have a Samsung SH-D163B DVD ROM DRIVE and i have downloaded the firmware for the drive ...
when i try to flash the drive i get an error message saying OLD Version Opened!! and if i then install the Firmware it says Flash CMD failed !! ....any one can help me please .
This is why i just want to buy one pre flashed .

Maybe I just like to get my hands dirty with the technology, a lot more fun than being a sissy and buying a new drive when things can be done just as safely otherwise.

How in the heck is letting wxRipper and abgx360 do all the work for you considered getting your hands dirty?
If you really wanted to, as you say, "get my hands dirty with the technology", then you'd be using your own 360 drive to make your own backups.
And I also want to mention about you spamming that other site (against the rules) and wxRipper. The purpose of ripping your own games is to know, without a doubt, that you have a legit rip.
If you rip your own iso but then use abgx to patch it, that's absolutely no better than downloading some scene rip and praying that the info in the abgx database is good. And as we've seen before, it always isn't.
So how can you also say wxRipper is just as safe as a Kreon drive? You really need to get your facts straight.

someone will be long soon no doubt it's more than likely a time zone thing,i've bought my kreon pre flashed,however if i didn't know any better i'd swear the new firmware is detecting the old & is not able to overwrite it untill it's been removed if that's even possible,should be interesting to see who can shed some light

You've got version 1.0 and are trying to install that now correct?
With message "OLD Version Opened!!" maybe try restarting your computer and then running the installer for v1.0.

There is no Kreon version 1.0.1.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
