is it possible i dont wanna have to buy a probe as well i spent 30 so far on th evia card n torx screw drivers.
do all new 360s come with lite on now?

Yes, it is possible to flash it without the probe. But it's not possible to read it without one. And you got to read it first to get your key.

what about the firmware for lite on that u download cant u just flash it with that n it would work?

no. the firmware you download has to have your drives key injected into it, which you can only get by reading your drive.

You will need to do some research and learn up or pay someone to do it. You need to know what you are doing otherwise you will render your XBOX 360 useless.

i have read a bunch a tutorials n watched a few videos. just dont understand why ur making the bin file if u need ur key first

Flashers; (JungleFlasher, iPrep, Xbox Mod Disc, etc.)
No two Lite-Ons have the same key.
The "flashers" will put modified firmware onto your Lite-On, but it's useless unless the modified firmware has the same key number as the original firmware. So that's why you GOTTA get that key number FIRST, from the original firmware, in order to "spoof" it into the new modified firmware.
Your Lite-On is looking for it's own UNIQUE key number regardless of what firmware you put on it.
