I'm in dunshaughlin area chorus changed from dvb t to dvb c. I was told starview 4 super box might work so i took a chance and got one but cant get it to work. Can anyone help on this i'm getting no signal

if your on cable starview 4 will work,try sticking the cable directly in to the tv and go to an unused channel and try to tune in the free channels(if you have a signal the free channels should come in)if not it means you may have to pay your cable company for its basic package,and then they will switch your cable on.

I was thinking that ok. When it was DVB T mmds i di'nt need subsription of basic package maybe its different now for DVB C

Has anyone got c***s mmdc working on DVB C Starwiew Super Box. My mmds is not service is DVB C it was changed to this type a couple of weeks ago. But cannot get my box to work. PLease help i'm reduced to Free View Satalite

try manual scan on symbol rate 6.875

Tried Manual scan on that symbol rate but still get nothing. Even after putting in that symbol rate and saving it. When i do a scan it says no new channells found. And when i press the sig button the symbol rate has not changed to the one i entered. Is there a master menu for changing the symbol rate other than going through nagravision

menu instalation press ok when you go into it put in 6.875 or 6.887 in symbol rate in the down freq if you can remember any of your freq ie. 130.000 250.000 400.000 ect the quality and level will go green and yellow if it finds anything save you having to scan each time if your not getting anything with your cable plugged into tv you wont get anything with box if you are put cable into cable input on box and try above
