Hey, guys i went to this pawn shop and saw a 60gb ps3 for $265. Im like DAMN. I gotta get it! But im scared if i do it mide YLOD on me or the blu-ray drive might F*CK UP? IT looked in very good condition, pretty dusty, but i can clean it up ;) BTW will pal ps3 games play on ntsc ps3?

New or used your still running the risk of ylod or the drive dying.The only thing with new is you have a warranty. Ask the pawn shop if they offer any type of warranty. I have a launch 60GB ps3 and I've had no issues with it. As far as ntsc and pal inquiry, at the present time ps3 games are not region locked so you can buy a game from the US and use it on your european ps3.

Although the ps3 games aren't region locked most of the games have their online portion region locked. For example if you buy a game from the US and play it in the UK it will try to connect to the US servers causing you lag among other things. Not all games do this but the bulk does.
