hi lads can anyone help me i downloaded latest fix for eurovox 5000pvr and when finished connected to tv and no power,i taught it was genuine like my ex51000 with i had no problems with but on closer inspection i realised its a clone,i heard i can jtag it but have no idea were to evan start,

Yes you can go here for the jtag kit http://www.tailor-madecircuits.com/shop/...&products_id=32

You will find the TSOP bin in Eamos and post back and will post how to do so. Although the instructions from TMC will do it for you just substitute the TSOP.

You will note I and everyone else did say the latest firmware was only for genuine boxes.

hi scouser,i got my jtag kit today in the post.so i am ready to go.if you could supply a step by step approach i would be grateful..when i do get the box jtagged will i be able to put the nag2 update onto it..thanks for your help in advance

Haven't had a clone EX5000, so cannot say if it will take the Nag2 fix for sure after, but may do with a clean TSOP.

Did you not receive full instructions with the Jtag and where did you get it?

i received a cd with different folders on it.. i think it might be a bit over my head though..there is no step by step guide which is a pity..i will have a good look at cd and see if i can make anything out of it..thanks again

Hi i am in same situation i have got jtag atached to box euro pvr
have got to flash programming part in jkeys but cant getchip/sector
programing part to come up
