I have a game that freezes right after it shows the games logo screen. I have the latest firmware ix1.6 repack, I used imgburn to burn the game and also did a check of the disc with abgx360 after I burned the game. Everything checks out perfectly. I have used virbs and memorex discs. Same issue with both discs. I have tried different burning speeds, and even burned with xbc. Same thing every time. I have burned other games and they work great. I have tried ripping the game over again and useing the new iso and dvd file. No luck. All my drivers are up to date too. If anyone has any suggestions I would applicant it. Thanks!

What drive do you have (I'm assuming lite on?). Try saving the game to your 360's hard drive... but it sounds like your laser is dead/dying.

My drive is a lite on and my xbox is only a year old with hardly any use. I don't have any trouble playing other backups and the original works great.I was trying not to save games to my hard drive. I only have a 60 gig and I don't want to eat it up. Also if something happens to my hard drive I would like the backup to work like normal. The game is eternal sonata. I know, kind of a kiddy game but it isn't to bad so far. Thanks everyone!

>This game happens to be region locked so maybe you're trying to run a pal backup on your ntsc. Run it through abgx 360 and see what it says.

>Eternal Sonata has known critical issues with freezing at the bandai screen (even originals) however the xlive update corrects it.

>I've also just read where someone saved it to the HD and it corrected the issue. Since you have a 60 gb hd why not save a few games at a time that you are playing. Less wear and tear on the laser, games load much faster and they are easily deleted.

My Fight Night Round 4 keeps locking up at the first screen. I reburned it about 3-4 times but the problem still persists. When I remove my hard drive, the game plays fine. Only problem is you can't save obviously! Try removing your drive and see what happens

I got FNR4 to work by disabling streaming music to xbox :)

I tried the game without my hard drive connected and it did the same thing. It xbox would detect the game and once I try to play it it freezes after the logo boots up. I also don't know how to disable streaming in my xbox. I looked everywhere but missed it.

Instead of auto running the game I downloaded it to my hard drive of the 360. It loaded and will play perfectly. I just wish I could figure out why it wont boot up properly on its own(without being loaded on the hard drive. Thanks everyone and thanks Johnstarr

That's great that you got it working. There have only been a few games that have been problematic and eternal sonata ranks up there. Not sure if you are hooked up to xlive but the update is supposed to fix the issue.
