im trying to install the channel r628 but wad manager is giving me a 1035 error. i was still able to reinstal channel r468 though. any help is appreciated.
I'd recommend using the forwarder channel instead of the the regular channel for USB Loader GX. The forwarder looks just like the regular channel; however, it actually loads USB Loader GX from your SD card. The process is seamless though and it provides better support for the application.
With the regular channel, you cannot actually upgrade software, even though it goes through all the motions of updating and appears to complete successfully.
By using the forwarder channel though, the boot.dol in the SD card actually gets replaced with the updated version like it's supposed to and you'll be guaranteed to have the latest version... which works awesome by the way. They release an update almost every other day it seems like and now you can even run all of your Homebrew apps directly from within USB Loader GX.
Think of a forwarder like a shortcut in windows. It's not actually the executable file, its just a shortcut to the executable file. They both install as channels. One is a shortcut and the other is an actual program. The forwarder is the shortcut and I like using it better because you can basically just replace the .dol file on the sd with any .dol file at any time and the forwarder will launch whatever .dol file you put in the folder that the forwarder points too. Makes sense?

Yeah that makes sense. Thanx mate.
But how do I create a forwarder then?
I only got this .dol file to the USB Loader GX release. If I run that .dol file through HBC, what will happen? Will it install as a Channel? How can I otherwise install it as a forwarder?

You can download the forwarder HERE. Install it using WAD Manager. You need to make sure you have the .dol version on your SD Card in the apps folder.

Oh, tnx man. So I need a customized forwarder for each application? I thought I could somehow choose during the installation to install as channel or forwarder.
Is it easy to make a forwarder yourself or is it easier to just search for a forwarder for each application/game?
I found an application called Loadstructor. Anyone knows if that´s a good application?
