hi guys..just signed my daughter up to xbox live for her 10th birthday..paid the fee got her online..then went to play fifa 09..apparently shes too young to play fifa 09 online..ive changed the setting and still have the same problem..can somebody give me advice on how to sort this please..i have a seriousley upset 10 year old..thanks..ps..the answer im not looking for is "she is too young go buy her a book or a bike!!" thanks guys

hi did you try a new profile? if not make a new one and put your date of birth and so on it did that for my son to so i just made a new profile.hope this helps :-)

She is too young go buy her a book or a bike!! Lol just playing, but my brother had this problem once, you shouldn't have to go and make a new profile because then your live would be on the other soo...call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and tell them you made a mistake in the DOB and you need it changed. Give them all the information and just change it to yours, besides her name and stuff like that. Thats what I did for my brother.

thanks guys for the replys but i think i found the answer..its apparently an EA thing so i guess they just lost a customer because right now shes blowing peoples heads off on call of duty and killing people on rainbow six ..go figure (as they say in america..i think..lol)

I don't see a problem with it so long as the kids are monitored more so when they have headsets on as there are some real tossers out there, & the language at times can be real agro especially if there's a lagger on the other team,the cussing matches in the lobby can get real heavy..*mutley laugh*

I don't want to sound like a moron but I think it is quite irresponsible to let a 10-year-old play such games like COD4 or Rainbow Six. They are rated 16+ for a reason. You wouldn't let your child watch softporn, would you?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

What's the diff play a video game or watch the 6 oclock news,then again back in the day Benny Hill & Kenny Everet could be considered softy porn,hell i watched it when i was a kid amongst other programs of which some were violent,then again life is dog eat dog,bullying in the school yard pretty much violence ain't got nought to do with a vid game,shock horror seeing farm animals mating while on a school trip to the country side or some poor kid or animal getting bowled by a car ,shite happens ya can't wrap em in cotton wool for ever & don't get me started on so called stranger danger..video games! nahhhh there's a lot more things to worry about than a vid game starting with real life

i have been gaming with all games ever since i was about 4 and i am fine. also you are going to run into problems down the road op, because try to play a dvd and you will see what i mean, there are several games that are going to give you this headache. is you call ms you can have them change it, thats what my buddy had to do when he bought a used console.

eisherz..sorry but you do..im not an irrisponsible parent..i play on live with her and to be truthful a lot of people in game lobbys are quite respectful when i remind them that a 10 year old girl is listening..so a lecture was not what i was looking for.i personnaly have never mugged,raped,tortured or killed anyone..nor have i mutilated any animals (although there was that one at band camp....)and i like others have been playing since the stone age..cause im old enuff to remember that i think..lol..i think i will phone ms or xbox and explain the situation and see what they can do..thanks for the info guys
