wii sports resort on 3.2J firmware

i'm trying to burn and play the US version of wii sports resort on my 3.2J fw wii. is that possible? wat steps do i need to take to make it work?
i have the iso and an actual wii motion plus sensor.

my only real question is if i do the update that comes with wii sports resort, will i still be able to play my other burned games? or will updating prevent me from loading them?
