Lite On Drive won't take KEY

Help, I just got a brand new Xbox manufactured in March of 09 and I was able to extract the key but it will NOT go back on. The drive is a 74850c. I'll erase the drive and write the firmware (1.6) but nothing writes. When i dump the drive for second time it says the firmware is DVD Key Extract 32 and has no key.

Can anyone help?

What type of SATA chipset are you using?

Actually i got it, thank you for the reply. The Dummy file was missing data that i had to manually input from the drive. After i repaired the Dummy it was smooth sailing
