hi i am using maxell dvd+r dvds to burn games,some of them work but the other dvds say medium not presented
heres my log

any help with what to do

i thought imgburn doesnt read dvd-r

Imgburn reads (and writes) to DVD-R just fine. I use them all of the time. Are you talking about Single layer or DL? I assume single since you're talking about games.

"and i have dvd-r and they dont work " is pretty non-descriptive. What does imgburn report when you put a DVD-R blank in your writer?

What's your burner model.

"medium not presented" typically means that the medium is not compatible with your DVD BURNER"

Have you updated your burner firmware lately?

It's a newer SATA drive. Compatibility shoudn't be an issue. What kind of DVD-R are you using?

SInce you are running Vista, I am out of solutions. You may get a better answer from the Imgburn forums.

You shouldn't need to upgrade the firmware since it's pretty new.

Maxell DVD-R should work. I'm sorry, I'm out of suggestions at this point.

which one did u click
for example
