Okay so I dont want to pay upwards of $150 dollars for a 120 gb drive so i went to a local computer shop and bought a WD1200BEVT 120gb HDD. I got HDDhackr V 1.00 and it recongnized the drive. Great, but when I go to flash (i press F then enter) It tells me that sector 16 does not match and if I want to flash. I say Y then enter, and then it just sits there and does NOTHING. Can someone tell me what is going on and how to fix this?

I thought you had to run the flash command twice, not quite positive about that though.

I'm using v 1.11 as no other version detects my drive. Xbox still doesn't recognize it. The program just hangs after it says sectors 16-22
rewritten successfully! Partition 0/2/3 created successfully!

I don't know I'm about to give up. I really hope it works sooner or later because I spent 70 bucks on this drive.

I'm sure you can get it work. What type of SATA chipset are you using?

But i had to reinstall the RAID drivers so it could be recognized. someone said somewhere about making it non raid. i do have 4 on board sata ports, but the bios said they are not installed and i can not for the life of me figure out how to activate them...
