I can't get into the wii options for internet it gives me an opera error. I did some reading and found the fix was downloading and burning an iso to a disc. I attempted it twice and get errors when trying to use the disc. What do i need to do to get my wii unbricked.

Insert a game disc of the same region as your Wii with a newer firmware update. It should update your wii into the correct region and unbrick your wii.

so what game has a newer firmware? How do i know what firmware i have if when i click wii settings it gives me that internet error? Mario kart doesn't work. Does the new wii resort game have an update on it?

hi Elnoyl if you get a solution please post have the same problem and like you tried to fix it with the iso you said you tried the new sports resorts was going to try that myself except my wii is ntscu and I am in a Pal region was thinking about getting a relation to get one whilst on hols in Usa but probably no point it it doesnt work , such a bummer
