Ok I have been trying this for a long time and still have not be able to get it to work. I have windows vista 32bit and a HP computer. I have a mother board with the right hook ups but when i tried to use slax or jungle flasher i couldnt get it to find my drive and have not been able to flash it. I have heard the I should use a PortIO32 driver or that I could possibly use SATA to USB adapter to get it to recognize but I really have no clue. To beat it all, I have not been on xbox live in a while and i had to recover my gamertag and it took my gamer score from 11,xxx to 3,825 and took most of my achivements so help would really be nice, just tell me how to get it to recongnize and which one i should use, the PortIO32 driver or SATA to USB and where i can buy them. thank you much

Have you even tried installing the portio drivers that come with jf? Make sure you have the latest version of .Netframework installed, What version of slax are you trying to use?

When you downloaded jf you shoud have got them with the install, read the readme file, In there there is a folder that says manual install, follow the directions in there, this will install the drivers manually, your drive should then show in the portio side(LEFT) side of jf!! Now slax i just use slax 2.0 basically, you start pc with slax in the drive on the pc, as you boot pc about 2 seconds later boot xbox 360, it will load a linux program just keep watching and it SHOULD say spinning up disk, wait for it to get to a login in screen and thats it your drive is in mode b. This can also be done in jf by pressing the mode b button when the drivers are installed and your drive is showing.
