that was probably the best trailer I've seen in a long long time. i cannot wait until the game is out/up on some newsgroups. but i hope they made the multiplayer matches higher than a 750 point limit since all the kills were worth 50 points instead of 10.

Definitely. I haven't been this anxious for a game in a while so definitely can't wait for it to release.

That was a damn good trailer. Cant wait for it to be released. I just wish they would have shown the plane get hit, fall, crash and explode.

i actually prefer world at war to modern warfare but that trailer makes me think again..im definitly gonna get it..it looks awesome!!

i prefer nazi zombies to modern warfare, but now that treyarch is being a bunch of d*cks and not fixing the problem with creating a party, im leaning back towards modern warfare. my only problem with the new COD is the name, i just dont like it being called modern warfare 2.
either way i cannot wait until this game hits the streets so i can start killing people, well, more like being killed by people.

Sticky Grenades?
Lock-on rocket launchers?
Didn't some other game do this :P
I remember going on the IW forums a couple weeks after the original came out and asking if there would be a killstreak perk that let us pilot the gunship for 30 seconds. Apparently they listened. (I'm sure the idea was brought up before)

Yeah, but it still going to be pretty sweet.

Nice... This feature is going to be awesome. Can't wait to pilot one of those planes.

This is being discussed a lot in some of the game forums. There has to be more to that perk than what the vid shows. Is that really going to be us up there in the plane or is that just what the kill cam shows.
Look at it like this. You're sniping. You see your next victim. You got the crosshairs locked on and right as you pull the trigger, poof, he just disappears in to thin air. You think "wtf, where'd he go?". He disappears because he was just magically teleported up in to the aircraft.
It's hard to imagine that scenerio. Why would IW make such a unfairly advantaged perk? Maybe it is just the kill cam, maybe you control the ac130 from the ground and using that perk leaves you wide open. Or maybe Scotty does just beam you up.

Well from what I saw the gunship shot where you were shooting at. I would assume that is what is going on or your entire body is exposed and you control it remotely.
Skip to :26, you see that as soon as he fires the shotgun he gets a gunship kill. (2 gunship kills actually)
Then at :29 he is firing on the guy and shortly after he kills him a barrage of fire comes down.
Then again at :33 right as he kills him a barrage of fire comes down.
Then again at :37 another barrage of fire comes down.
Then at :45 you see the plane from another persons perspective, from our view we kill a guy and we see the shots coming AT us. This is why from our view we are able to shoot down the plane (though he doesnt because it has flares)
I believe :47 is the killcam.
Then at :48/9 we get another kill with the gunship.
Then at :52 we get ANOTHER kill and the gunship is firing where we were.
However this is all just what I noticed.

This is what someone else said:
"The person we are viewing the whole time is DKo5. The two 130 kills at :26 were fourzerotwo's.
Also, you get to pilot your thing, it says so. And the reason there was always a blast after where someone was killed is because the AC user was aiming there but shot too late."

Damn, we still have 4 months till this game comes out. Probably be 2 more map packs for waw but that's not enough and battlefield 1943 is getting quite boring with only 3+1 maps.
Hopefully they still will have headquarters for the days I just want to run around and self explode and Search and Destroy for the days I like to pretend to be tactical.
-If I hear one more person that I'm playing zombi maps with mention the word glitch, I'm gonna kick um in the nutzzzz(I've seen them all from day 1 and done them all so there's nothing new). Using real team work can easily achieve +30 rounds-->that's how i roll!
No time for Leap frog!!!
