backing up 360 games

I only would like to know how back up 360 game that I own or will be purchasing in the future. I know people keep mentioning a kreon firmware. I have a Sony dvd dual layer burner. Please I would like a good reference. Any help will be appreciated, thank you very much in advance. Also, if possible how properly burn them after they are backed up. Thank you again.

PC Drives that can be flashed with Kreon:
Samsung SH-D163A (SATA)
HP TS-H353A (SATA)
Samsung SH-D163B (SATA)
HP TS-H353B (SATA)
Samsung SH-D162C (IDE)
HP TS-H352C (IDE)
Samsung SH-D162D (IDE)
HP TS-H352D (IDE)

You can use your XBOX 360 DVD drive to rip games (Samsung/BenQ/Lite-ON).
If you have iXtreme 1.6 flashed to the drive, you can put the drive in half tray status and Windows will recognize it. Or there is dedicated ix 1.6 0800 firmware if you have a spare drive for ripping.
XBOX Backup Creator v2.9 is a great program to rip and burn. So is ImgBurn.

Thank you very much for the dvd drive list. My computer set is set for IDE, which ones from that list would you highly prefer and wher can I purchase it. I've already downloaded the program, my only question how do you flash the drive with the kreon firmware. Thank you very much for the advice. Just one question will the ripping and burning programs stealth the games as well. Thank you again

Samsung SH-D162C (IDE). i have this drive and love it. about the only place to get it is from ebay. most of them will come preflashed, if not then its a simple process. all you have to do is download the kreon firmware. newest is version 1.0, and it will have a little program to flash it. it only takes about 30 seconds to do all of it.

Thank you very much I will be investing into this very soon, one last question, does anyone have an invite to demoniod, only in case if I can't find a physical copy of rare game will I even consider to download it. If not I understand completely, or is their another site with 360 games? Thank you very much in advance.

probably no-one will give you an invite for demonoid. and also its against the rules to ask for an invite. but check on fridays, they usually have open registrations then. and there are plenty of better sites for getting games.

Wabashman, which sites then would you recommend besides demonoid, to look for 360 games. General question for all, if I ever invest in another dvd drive for my 360 which brand should I go with? I currently have a hitachi drive I know there is also a Benq and a samsung drive, which one is easier to flash the drive. Any advice would be well appreciated. Any sites anyone can suggest thank you in advance.

i would go with the BENQ,,along with jungleflasher the easiest drive to flash,,

SH-D162D are the newest IDE kreon drives, the others work fine, but 162d's are easiest to find.
