So I recently modded my Wii using the softmod guide and the launch backup games on disc channel guide. For some reason when I turn off my Wii, everything dissappears but the screen is still black. For the record, my TV is old so the video screen is white, so it's suppose to be white after I turn off the Wii. I'm uncomfortable about this, help.

I also found out that if I leave it like that for a while it won't turn on when I press power. I really don't want to unplug/replug my Wii just to turn it off/on.

There is a setting that leaves the wii on in standby so it can still have incoming messages turn that off. Or you can hold the power button until its red.

There is a "full shutdown" option in USB Loader GX to achieve the same shutdown level as holding the power button until it's red.

I am wondering is it possible to make the "full shutdown" as a standalone channel in the main menu so that I just need to click that channel to shutdown instead of holding the power button or going to USB loader to do it? just FYI, I hide my Wii in a media closet which is far away from the TV and it's not convenient to go to the closet to do a full shutdown every time.

There is no reason to have it as a channel just turn off standby......
