bannerbomb wont load the boot.dol file

ok so i think i figured this out

after i did the 4.1 update it would not let me use the homebrew channel
so i tryed to use bannerbomb to re-install it but to my supprise
bannerbomb kept telling me unable to open /boot.dol
i had everything on the sd card right or so i thought
i put the private folder on then the boot.dol file for hackmii and then tried in my wii but kept getting this cannot load screen so what i did was just rename the boot.dol file to just boot i didnt add the .dol
and it worked perfectly.

hope this helps some people out

You can't name a file without a file extension. Windows hides the file extension sometimes and what you've probably done is named it this boot.dol.dol but it came up on your computer like this boot.dol. That's my best bet anyway.
