hi i softmodded my wii with the first guide and after a while put on usb loader.

however after using usb loader (which didnt work) my wii wont even detect any discs (original or backup) anymore.

my wii loads up its main menu and i can access mii channel, settings, etc

BUT WHEN I PUT IN ANY GAME, NOTHING HAPPENS. it doesnt say 'unable to read disc' the disc icon in the disc channel just spins but i hear no spinning in the disc drive.

any help would be appreciated.

Thats sucks. Sounds like a hardware problem, good luck. In the mean time I'd try running games from a USB Loader. Try USB Loader GX, just search google.

This happened to me too. If you have any themes installed on your Wii, uninstall them. Or if you don't, then I can't help you because I did that to my friend's Wii but I still don't know what went wrong. But the custom theme thing worked for me.
