hey guys, my mom got a xbox 360 from dubai dutyfree, now i suppose it is a different region, i am currently in pakistan, its a Xbox 360 arcadePAL version, running jasper...
now i was wondering if i would be able to buy games from my local stored in pakistan, and run them in my xbox 360 from dubai without any modding, and if i do get a mod chip will my live still work,

Not sure what region Pakistan is sorry so cant tell you if games from your local store would work.
You could just flash the XBOX's drive with iExtreme firmware (use the guides on here) and download PAL games. This is however a small risk of getting banned from XBOX live.
well im not planning on using much xbox live, and in pakistan, the games are pirated, and i get a game for around 6 us dollars....... and yeah my friends have both ntsc/J and pal systems and they buy both kind of games eaisly,
but some of my friends are saying that even if u buy pal games here they wont work on a console from dubai
