Do i need to buy anything to flash?

Well, i got my xbox open and now I'm looking for some guides on how to flash it. It is a Lighton drive, and i really don't know what to do.
Do i have to buy anything to flash it? Or could i just use my computer? Not too sure about this stuff. Could anyone link me to a good guide too.
Also, my motherboard is a Foxconn A79A-s

You can use the Jungle Flasher tutorial or I have a walk-through linked in my signature for a Stock Lite-ON. You are going to need a compatible SATA chipset and some additional hardware (Key-Reader). You must dump the DVDkey of the Lite-On with the key reader. You can make your own (bhetrick has a guide in the Ultimate Sticky) or you can purchase the Maximus Xtractor PRO with spear or the CK3 Lite/Pro with probe.

It might be, only way to know is to try it out and see if Jungle Flasher recognizes the drive (PortIO is required). Lite-ONs are recognized as PLDS DG-16D2S. If it doesn't work, you will need the VIA PCI SATA card with the 6421 chipset.
You also need to find out what firmware revision your Lite-ON is. On the top of the drive, in the lower right hand of the sticker, is the firmware revision.

:( i don't think i can do this. I better just give up now lol, this seems a lot harder than soft modding my old xbox.
