hi all

Does anyone know, I bought a sky+box from englang, will i be able to put my sky card into it? Also, would the box channel set up be in the english format i.e. would channel 101 be bbc 1 ect.

I've an english sky plus box, should work no problem
101 will be RTE if you have an irish card inserted afaik.
I think I might of had to ring sky with the box serial though(been setup 3years so cant remember)

Hi there

thanks for that, without using my irish sky card, will bbc 1 be 101?
Basically, if i get enough freeview channels, I may not need to re-subscribe to sky!?

If I remember correctly if you use the box without an Irish card in it it will default to a freesat box if using the connection from the dish. BBBC London is first on the EPG list as channel 101.
