OK. Have a softmodded 4.1U wii. I was using USB loader GX rev 641 and cIOS38_rev13a without issue. Just installed cIOS38_rev 14 and upgraded USB Loader GX to rev 674M.

When I go to run games now am getting code dumps for all of them.

USB game settings are as follows:

Video Mode: Force NTSC
VIDTV Patch: On
Game Language: On
Patch Country Strings: Off
Ocarina: Off
Boot/Standard: cIOS249
Quick Boot: No
Error 002 fix: Yes

Anyone else get this to work with similar or different settings using the latest cIOS and latest version of USB Loader GX?

I even went and deleted the global.cnfg file from the sd card and restarted USB Loader so it would recreate it as that has fixed this in the past.

That didn't works so i went and redid the entire "new improved softmod" again.

Just curious if this is working for anyone else now with this setup? If not, I'll reload my old .nand and go back to cIOS38_rev13a which was working just fine.

It is definitely the latest versions of USB Loader, not cIOS38_rev14. Verified in their OPEN ISSUES SECTION HERE

I have cIOS38_rev14 and am using USB Loader GX r630 and it works great now. r630 is the last version that you can get from their official posts HERE

They need to work the bugs out on their new releases. Until that happens i'll stick with r630 and cios38_rev14.

by the way cIOS38_rev14 fixes the need to reboot the wii between games. You can now play games back to back without any trouble.

GBA Temp has rev682 out now and if finally fixed all of my code dump problems that had been reoccurring through many of the latest releases. It's not available from the update option in USB Loader GX (674M is current as of right now). Hopefully they replace it with 682 soon so everyone can get it easily. For now though, check out GBA (don't think I'm allowed to post the link here).

Preloader .29
Bootmii Boot 2
Older hermes cIOS 222/223 (both using 249 option 37 merged with 36 USB LOADER GX Rev682
Video Mode: Force NTSC
VIDTV Patch: On
Game Language Console Default
Patch Country Strins: On
Ocarina: off
Boot/Standard: 249 (games with peripherals like rockband are manually set to 222 since I have hermes cios installed for instrument support)
Quick Boot: No
Error 002 fix: Yes
