Can I get this to work ? had been using a eurovox max in Ireland up until the big switch off. Visiting parents in Scotland who have virgin cable / broadband and decided to give them the box but not sure how to set it up and would appreciate some info.
At their house the cable comes in to a small box on the wall the cable then goes into a splitter where one cable goes off to the modem, the other cable goes into another small box and the cable coming from that plugs into the back of the virgin box. Can I get my eurovox to work and if so how do I connect it up and anything else I will need to do? Cheers.

Yes if you have the latest Max V firmware on it, factory reset and scan on the correct symbol rate. If you have not got the latest firmware on it, HiTeck's guide will have all you need.

Thanks for the above advice but what I also want to know is how to connect the box up. In Ireland I only had the analogue cable so I never had a NTL box to deal with just a coaxial cable from the wall straight into the eurovox but here they have their virgin box, so can you tell me where to insert the eurovox and what to with the virgin box. Cheers

Replace the two way splitter with a three splitter. Thus keeping the Virgin box and BB connected and allowing you to add the EV.

You will find one here, (it has DC passthrough for the modem) Click Here
