As a challenge I recently managed to get homebrew to run on the Nintendo Wii, and while great and all, I couldn't help but wonder if there was someting similar I could do for the 360? I took a look at the Ultimate Sticky Sticky, and haven't really found anyway to get homebrew application to work on a 360. This is odd because, after using google, I have found out there are ways to hack the 360 that doesn't neccessairly involve the hardware/drive.

You have got to be kidding me. Well thanks anway...I was going to see if I could get something like Ocarina set up on it (essentially a cheating device), as well as a few other odds and ends, but whatever.

Wabashman...I can respect you if you think that cheating shouldn't be done because it deprives a person of the full gaming experience, but too be honest, who in their right mind *wants* to level grind for 3+ hours just to get to the next area? Also, just because a person cheats a little, doesn't mean they intend to do so throughout the entire game. Also what do you mean by that's all I'm planning to use it for? I said that cheating was only one of the reasons ie. I plan to use it for other reasons as well. Can't really think of any at the moment it just depends on what people are able to release that I can use.

Also what is with esentially saying "if it's not available create a way yourself." If I was smart enough to create a homebrew system that would have defeated the entire point in asking if there was already one available. Whatever, I reall don't like your attitude, and before this turns into a flamewar, and seeing as how my question has already been answered, I'm giving you the last word. Peace.

I agree, cheating is fine for games... it is so fun to be headshot through 20 walls from the other side of the map.

Cheating can make it easier for people to get achievements. Now I'm not an achievement whore but this might spoil those specific people.

If cheating is kept locally and you don't take that crap online (if you could) then do what you do. But when you affect my game play, you have crossed the line.

Cheating offline is ok, I do it myself when I get stuck in a game. If I have to apply a mission for the tenth time because it is so goddamn difficult, I cheat. But cheating in onlinegames is just poor.

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Cheating is cheating.
That's like someone saying "you need a shower" and you replying "but I only stink a little". Then You Stink.

"You hungry?" "Um, a little bit". That makes you a hungry person.

Cheating for personal use, OK, I guess.
Cheating against other players, wrong.

Uhh...I think people are misunderstanding by what I mean by cheating. I'm talking about solo gameplay. I mean, if your cheating and your playing against other people (example: Xbox Live), that's just unsportman like ie. being a griefer, and yes you should be banned for it. As for achievements...never saw the point in them. I mean their nice, but if you get it via cheating, what does it matter? It's called an achievement because you *earned* it, so that's the only real issue aside from online play I can think of.

Either way it is fun to replay a favorite game with cheats on. Not necessairly FPS, but more of the RPG variety. This way you can just go nuts for a time, and it won't matter, because you already beat it before. So, yeah, cheating is nice, but only every here in now. Keep in mind, there are some games where if you cheat, it ruins the fun/value of the game. Mad World is the only one I can think of; yes it may be difficult at times, but if you cheated, it would have lost it's appeal. In short, as with everything, moderation please, and only use it when doing so won't impact others in enjoying their fun.

Actually, now that I think of it, there are some games where if you spent a few Microsoft points, you *can* cheat. Tales of Vesperia is the only game I can think of. I think for 300 (rougly $3.75) ponts you can go up five levels. So, yeah, you can cheat on some games, but when you have to pay microsoft each time you do it, what's the point? That's why I figured if there was a cheating device out there (something more efficent than gamesaves) that would work out a lot better.

You can also boost your player up to max skill on tiger woods 08 for 800 ms points... that is really stupid.
