THE BOX Super channels don't work.

Hey i'm having problems with all channels except the ones without the $ sign on them eg. Channel 1, 2, ITV1 etc.
I reset to factory settings and reinstalled all the channels but some of the channels failed (I got about 330-350 channels) so I clicked Exit to get to the channels and the ones with the $ sign don't work but the ones without it do.
System information:
THE BOX Super
API ver: 8.62e_E
Boot ver: 8.0
30.Nov.2008
Please help, I have a younger brother who watches the Kids channels and is bored stiff without TV.

Press Menu, type 1570, go to hidden menu, you will see EMU off, tab down, turn it on and exit out to a channel, let it update

Hi all,
New here. Just got my box today sv4. Im having the same problem but when I hit menu on the remote and press 1570 there is no sub menu??? Had sv1 so am familiar with the system!!
Anyone help please???? Also in waterford.

What's this 1570 thing you talk about? When I click Menu it comes up Channel Edit, Factory Settings, Installation etc. but no 1570 :S?

thats ok, when you press menu type in 1570 and another menu will appear ,scroll to where it says emu then switch it to on,then exit back to sky sports and wait a couple of seconds for it to update

When I press 1570 nothing happens. I have one or two channels like rte1 but all the rest are black and like I said when I press 1570 I dont get another menu .........
.............any ideas???? please help!

Can't help you really:
Are you sure you're doing it properly? you just press Menu and then press 1570.

is it a new box if yes you need to put the latest firmware on it ,make sure its not a clone have a read here

Ye its a new box just got it today from uk. Did what the instructions said and it seemed to worked but like i said before I have one or two channels and the rest are just a black screen. I turned it off, unpluged it and when I put it back on its still the same!! I'm almost certain its not a clone I cant see the silver chip anyway, so what do I do just download this firmware to a usb and upload to the box???

Hi All
Quick question. My cousin has The Box Super (silver with black writing, one line of the X is red and the word Super is in red also. Is the fix for The Box Super USB the right one for this box? If not, is there a fix yet? I have checked out Eamo's library but am unsure if The Box Super is a different box from the Box Super USB... Any help would be great. I have checked the back of the box and there does not appear to be a USB connection.....

Sounds like you've got the SV3 Elsie, the fix for The Box Super USB won't work on yours I'm afraid, The Box Super USB is an SV4, and all previous boxes to this are currently unsupported. Sorry!
