Okay so I want to update my iXtreme to 1.51 (Hitachi). I am currently on 1.4 but the problem is, I had an upgrade done on my computer and lost all my files including my orig.bin from when I first started.
I had also backed it up in an USB but it was re-formatted and lost it too.

Is there any possible solutions for this or am I just screwed?

BTW, I am STILL on 1.4 and am running smooth, I just want to update for Wave 3 games.

Thanks.

Just dump ix1.4 and spoof it to ix1.51. The 1.4 firmware has all your drive specific info.

I would recommend using Jungle Flasher because it will restore the drive to stock for you. You MUST restore to stock on a Hitachi!

I would dump the ix1.4 firmware so you make sure and get your dvdkey before you do anything else.

Yeah, dump ix1.4 just to be safe. Then in Jungle Flasher, select the option "Restore Stock". JF will restore to stock for you. Then select the option "Flash iXtreme".

Thanks a lot :D

I am not an expert at this but I've had my share of flashed drives, I'll get back to you if anything.

If you get th3 360 mod disc 1.6 then all you have to do then is reboot your pc with the disc in it and follow the instructions and whatever you do make absolutely sure you save the existing firmware currently on the drive. Do not erase the drive unless you are positive you have saved the firmware. But the 360 mod disc only takes about 10 minutes to do and your done. Good luck

lol.. I don't think there is +Rep here. Maybe that might be something AD needs to look into.
