Help Burning Xbox360 Backups.

I have Plextor PX-716UF Dual Layer External Dvd writer and a modded Xbox360 with a ton of backups that I purchased from a friend. Any who, to make a long story short I've tried burning UFC 2009 and Fight Night Round 4 with imgburn, Clonecd, Cookies Xbox Game burner etc... I burn all the games @ a 2.4x speed. They all appear to see the .dvd file fine and take approx 35 mins to burn. However, when I put the disk in my 360 the game appears to load but, hangs at the XBOX 360 Screen. The title of the game isn't even listed in the dashboard! It just says play DVD. I've wasted 4 disk already and I really need help resolving this issue please help.

Sounds to me like you have a version 1.4 or previous firmware on the 360, and you need at least 1.51 to play those games. Try burning an older game and see if that works.

There is a patch for the new wave 3 games like UFC and Fight Night that will make them work on a 1.4 system, but supposedly it's more likely to get you banned.
