I have recently modded my 360 drive with the iXtreme 1.6 firmware so I am fairly new to some of the information about it. I am just concerned about the banning that Microsoft does on modded 360's. So if I used the XDVDMulleter and make sure the .ISO has all the files needed so its stealthed and iXtreme compatible, does this mean its undeteced and Microsoft won't see this to ban me? Also does Microsoft only ban the consoles for going online with burnt games? Or can they ban your gamertag as well? I would appreciate any information anyone can give me on this.

Hey Luke. Couple of things...

1) Good on the 1.6 firmware. Congrats on the successful mod. Feel good, don't it?

2) XDVDMulleter is outdated and no longer supported. You must use ABGX360 to verify and patch your games. Also, once you get the program, there are 2 things you must do. You must set the AutoFix to Level 3 and you must update your ABGX360.ini file in your ABGX360 main directory to read as this:

This will make sure it finds what it needs when it fixes your games.

3) We don't really know exactly how MS bans consoles. We can only make educated guesses. Currently, if you stealth patch all of your games and have the most recent firmware, supposedly it is pretty safe. The truth is that we really don't know, and it's a gamble....but a gamble that will pay off, even if you do get banned. This is because you can sell your modded 360 for a nice sum and then buy a brand new one for not much scrilla more.

4) MS does not ban gamertags or harddrives, only individual consoles.
