Who thinks infinity ward will patch up the new hacks, or if they'll just let it go since they're too busy working on Modern Warfare 2?
I personally hope they patch them cause they're starting to get annoying, I'll admit I put them on and had my fun with them, but you can't play a legit game anymore..
On Twitter, Infinity Ward did say that they will 'investigate' this problem.
Not too sure if they will patch this up - I could see why they wouldn't patch it up if they didn't.
The next closest thing to Call of Duty 4 (besides WaW) would be MW2 which people will buy to get the (expected) same feeling as Call of Duty 4.
It could boost sales if they didn't patch it up.

Not a glitch but a hack.
Apparently, details of PSN users (passwords, phone number, billing information etc) are showing up to the host. People are suspecting that this happens when the host uses the new hack.
This has gone too far Infinity Ward. A fix is necessary, this could even pull in Sony.
Is this the hack that gives you the ability to fly around maps? I was at a relatives this weekend and he was flying around while a match was ongoing and there seem to be a lot of people doing it. I don't have COD4 anymore but was thinking of piking it up again but since there's too much of this shenanigans going on I will just hold out for MW2. I don't get how some people can brag about achieving something that they cheated getting?

Seriously? That's freaking weird.. I wondered what all those letters and numbers were in the top left hand corner when you have the hacks, and you are the host. But I never really payed that much attention. That's scary that could happen though..
EDIT: Apparently, if you don't take the hacks off your gamesave or put the original gamesave back on, then you won't be able to see uav's or anything in COD4.. Just played a few minutes ago and I had to change back to my original gamesave.
