Mortal Kombat freezes on softmod

Hi, I have a softmodded NTSC wii. I have got a backup of Mortal Kombat. When I load the game with the Backup Channel it immediately blackscreens. Anyone know what is going on? Other games work fine on my wii.

Download IOS version changer.

Load the ISO into it and change the IOS the game will boot with to 249.

After it patches the ISO to boot with IOS249 burn the disc as normal.
