wii help black screen after softmod

i paid to have my wii softmodded yesterday when i got it back it was working fine however tried it today and the menu screen comes on i put a disc on it comes up to playyou click on the disc channel press start to play the game and the screen just goes black and it wont turn off by the button you have to unplug it it is the same on all my games originals and backups
is this something they have done or is there a fix for it
pls help asap kids are devasted

to be honest if u paid to have it softmodded i wud take it straight back to the dude that did it...

will the wii go into preloader if u hold the reset button for 5 seconds?

i tried pressing reset and it doesnt do anything when the black screen is on when i press it when the menu screen is on it just goes off then reloads back on but no games will come on still

So you're not getting a black screen when you turn on the Wii, it actually does go to the Wii menu right? It sounds like you're just loading the games wrong. If he didn't set it up to launch backup games from the disc channel then there's going to be another channel to load backups from... like NeoGamma, or Backup Launcher... look for something like that and try to boot your games from it.

yeah i get the menu screen and when i put a disc in it comes up on the disc channel what game is in there but wen i click to start the game it goes black but yesterday they were loading fine through the disc channel its just today they are not but even originals arent i have got homebrew channel on there to but nothing shows up in there so suirely he must of done it to load thru the disc channel else surely they wouldnt of worked yesterday???
please help as this is really frustrating the only thing i did yesterday after they were working was download nintensdo channel and set the wireless up to my modem to go on wii shop but now they wont play??
help please

I have to agree with obeo2k2... you paid someone a lot of money to softmod your Wii and it's not working 1 day later... take it back to him and make him fix it!
