Best way of removing installed WADs

I have over the year installed wads as channels. Until now I have been removing them by going into the Wii data management and earasing them. Is this the correct way or do I need to use another application to get rid of them?

I would use wad manager to remove them. I think you still need the wad on the sd card, but this way it will fully remove everything.

The problem is I do not have all the wads and I dont even remember what I had installed and then removed.

If they are channels I just uninstall them from the data management.

I don't think it really matters.
