1. First off, all games I load through backup launcher give a green screen for 1 second before loading the tighten wristband screen. Why is this?

2. Vacation Sports: It plays fine but when it goes through all the menus before hitting the A+B (Start) screen, the disc reads alot, is this normal or can it break the Wii (lens or something)?

3. EA Sports Active: Plays fine but when it shows the green screen before game loads, the bottom half of the tv has white lines running across the green screen, is this safe?

4. Target Terror: Plays fine, the green screen comes up for 1 second, then the screen has white and black vertical lines filling the tv for 1 second. Is this ok or can it ruin the Wii or TV?

5. I bought my Wii as 3.4U and want to keep it at that menu since all works so far and I'm softmodded. Preloader 0.29 doesn't work on 3.4 menus, does anyone know if I can install an older version since it is recommended to have this program installed?

6. Finally, is it safe to have connect24 on? I'm using a USB dock to recharge batteries and would like the Wii on standby so they can recharge instead of having it on. I'm not sure if the Wii can update with connect24 on or not, or if it can somehow brick the Wii or mess with my mods on it.

If someone can enlighten me on these questions, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

You need to be on 3.2, 4.0 or 4.1 firmware for Preloader to work.

Each has a hacks.ini file and it is only supported for those 3 firmwares.

The Green Screen etc. etc. is fine. It is just forcing the video mode.

It is fine to leave WiiConnect24 on.

About Wii Connect24, I read on a different site that:

"You should keep that off. It might auto update your wii (making your hack unusable). And I've heard of it interfering with the usb loader."

I quoted that from someone else, I am also trying to see if it is 100% safe to have this on
How sure are you that is it 100% safe to have on and will not interfere with the Wii mods or cause problems or auto update?
