I heard the best media was Verbatim +R 8.5Gb Disc (Which is Always the Best). But can I use Verbatim -R or another brand of disc. Also why on new egg they're really cheap. Whether I went out to a computer store and they were $5 a disc! I would prefer not to buy online but not pay $5 a disc that's a rip off.

There are no such disks AFAIK. Dual Layer disks are always +r not -r

Just buy DVD+R DL Verbatim.

I don't think -R will work but if you want to go ahead try it out, go for it.

With -R you cannot set the layer-break which you have to for 360 games.

OK but so far they haven't sold +r in all the shops I've been in unless they've been another brand. Plus I live in Australia so I can't buy of new egg I believe and I don't want to buy online anyway. I've seen some TDK though would those be alright or not?

Guess that me proven wrong :D Really didnt think DL -r existed. Might be thinking of DL RW

TDK's are rubbish, I'd stay away from them. You will wreck your drives laser!
