Can anyone help me out. Ive just bought a eurovox 1000sl slimline, I've managed to get some channels, but alot of the rest of them are coming up as scrambled. Is there any way to unlock these channels? I was told it is possible.

Have you flashed the box?check the website you bought it from and see did it come preflashed,i would doubt it though as most send them free to air for legal reasons.

brain dead is back was tring to go through the link to see the tutorials on the usb null modem cable cable adapter, port setup but every time i click on the link it brings me to 4shared where it says Quote:
the link you requested is not valid
I have downloaded the software that my null modem cable adapter came with it was on a disk

Nah its not opening the files, it keeps trying to open them with adobe reader, when they are winrar files i have win 7 on the lptp but it just keeps opening them with adobe any ideas?

When i'm trying to download the new firm ware software onto my reciever box, it just says waiting for response from reciever box any ideas whats gone wrong, i'm using UFL_ex1000sl_24-02-09_darX, DnUpman MFC application. all the wires are connected fine, i've tryedit while its on standby and when the reciver is turned on. if any one has any ideas please.

Have you loaded the driver's that came on the cd with the usb adapter?Are you on windows xp or vista?and micky where are you from as that firmware will work in the uk but not in Ireland.

I loaded the drivers that came with the usb null modem adapter, super link and gene link, theyre on my desk top, i'm in belfast, i thought that it would have been classed as uk broadcasting.

Yes indeed uk broadcasting,but you havn't said wether your using vista or xp.

mickey i can help you you need to do a maneul scan if that dsent work
try a rs32 cable and download the software appropriate to your box and download it to your box from your computer.just put in the box up top
firmware.the best of luck mickey...and it can b done.

Thanks a million folks for all your help guys,it was just my ancient laptop i was able to flash it in my friends laptop he had male port on his for the modem cable really apreciate all the help xoluv yas lol
