I am having problem getting my burned backup disc to load. I ripped a Mario Party 8 - 4,699,979,776kb.

I burn the ISO to a disc, and the disc channel doesn't recognise it. The picture doesn't even come up.

I'm not sure what I did wrong. The ISO loads fine with the USB Loader, the original disc loads fine. I use the same DVD media to load some GC games fine.

What am I missing?? How do I know if it's cIOScorp not installed properly or if it's my DVD media?

What firmware are you on?

What guide did you use to install cIOSCorp?

I followed the guide here on the forum:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/773505
(New and Improved WII SOFTMOD guide)

then:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-154/...irmware-777675/
(the cIOScorp guide)

The only difference is:
1) I used Twilight hack to install HBC before upgrading to 4.1e
2) I skipped step 2, 3, and 4, in the second cIOScorp guide
-> Skipped update to 4.1
-> Skipped IOS Downgrade (Since it's already done in the first guide right?)
-> Skipped IOS60patched (again, done in first guide?)
edit: I also skipped running AnyRegionChanger since I didn't see any point in doing that. Could this be the problem?

I'm thinking of installing cIOScorp v3.1. (The one in the softmod pack i DLed is v1.01) But I'm a little nervous.

Any other suggestion?
(Btw, I have BootMii installed and backed up my NAND, so guess I shouldn't be THAT afraid..)

You need to do all the steps in the second guide if you want the games to boot from disc channel.

Do you really think I would add those steps if you didn't need to do them?

AnyRegionChanger has hacks that are installed so you need to run that.

Plus do all the other steps. Do not skip any.
