so, I followed these steps to a T....http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/16970-new-3-1-4-1-softmod-any-wii.html

plugged up maxtor 300gb external, put in the wii fit disc, it booted usb loader, copied disc, played it perfectly. Had read that this particular HD required you to wait for the no usb device found screen, and then power cycle it...but no, mine booted right up no problems and recognized everything perfectly....

then, got mad world iso.......tried to boot and got #002 error blue screen...googled and found that I needed file (of course now I can't find file...but it was similar to IOS38-64-v3610, just different #s...anyway installed it in .wad...found it didn't fix the problem, just now my HD has to have the unplug/plug fix to be recognized, and although this works it's a PIA. Is there a way to revert back to before I installed that file? I tried to uninstall to no avail...I assume this is causing the erratic behavior of the HD righT? I'm guessing I installed an older version of something that doesn't support the HD and replaced a more current version which did. Although I can't understand what I replaced.

Also I get the #002 error on all of the .iso's I try....and when I load up games in wbfs...it will replace the games on the HD with say 4 copies of the game I just loaded...say I load up tiger woods, and wii resort...when I plug into wii...even though I had mad world and wii fit installed, I will only see a list of four copies of wii resort.

thanks in advance and sorry for the length

Who knows what the effect the file would have done if we don't know the exact file you installed.

As for the #002 error. Get a USB Loader that can enable the #002 error fix.

Run IOS downgrader. This should downgrade and patch all the IOS files including IOS36.

Make sure your using an updated version of a USB loader that lets you enable #002 error fix.
