I would hope we can just agree that any sport, regardless of origin, that actively rewards flopping and has no inclination to change those rules is not worthy of our time. Soccer, basketball, I'm looking at you.

haha, all of this from a simple question about the greatest video game of all time, lol.
Just to add to the conversation, ive played Football (american) and I thought I loved it, until i was introduced to RUGBY
Dont get me wrong i still love football (american) but Rugby just blew my mind, you guys should give Rugby '08 from EA a shot, its only made for the PS2 but its a really underestimated. Realy fun, atleast for me lol, Madden is still better though since its been out for almost 20 years

Seems they are doing a better job this year of not letting it get leaked a couple weeks before retail.

So Does it check out ok with abgx? Or yall dont care and just gonna play offline for a week?
I know the "safest way to play" is not play til Friday, but what are yall doing/ going to do?

Nope. Doesn't check out OK with ABGX yet. Won't until release date or a few days after. I've been playing it (but I got a spare 360 with no shell for that purpose).

I checked with abgx and i thought it said it was stealthed, just the verification failed. So does that mean no on xbox live?

It isn't 'verified' because ABGX has no authentic retail disc to verify it with. Therefore the program can just tell you if it 'looks good' or not.
It may be fully okay and stealthed, and perfectly fine to play with. Or it may be some review copy from somewhere and it may backfire if you use it.
That's without going into the whole issue of whether or not it's dangerous to play pre-release games at all.

wow just trying to make a joke. I'm pretty sure there won't be a Beckham 10 because, who cares? It's "Soccer". The same way there probably won't be an [Insert Rugby player name] 10.
Madden is a huge franchise because it is Awesome!!!
The game of "Football" is different in every country. I live in America and like the NFL... shoot me.
