Ok here is my situation,

-I have 4.1 with HBC.
-I have backup disk launcher and usbx loader.
-I "copied" ssbb.iso to a dvd-r at x2 speed using imgburn.
-I have a bunch of other junk in my HBC that i was messing around with.

Anyway when I put my ssbb dvd-r in and launched it with backup loader it worked on the second try when I forced ntsc. It played flawlessly and worked great. I saved my progress to my sd card and didn't really think about it. Now when I go to try and load the same burnt disc it won't load or I get error #002 or green screen. Should I not have saved my game or is there anything I need that might allow my backup loader to work properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

most loaders and launchers have an option to turn error fix 002 ON/OFF. Try turning it on.

SSBB is a dual layer disc. Do you have the DVD5 or DVD9 version? The DVD5 has limitations on the game modes/saves.

What loader do you have?

I have Gecko which won't even recognize the disc.
And gator which worked once but now doesn't.

Ok I have neogamma now but I can't get my games to successfully load. Do I want force NTSC? What should my settings be i've been trying a lot of things but i keep getting timeouts or disc read error. I've also been trying different dvd-r's to make sure that that isn't the problem.

Basically, what do i want my neogamma config and region options to be?

I use USB loader GX. and every game works like a charm, including wii sports resort, as long as you have motionplus. It looks pretty too. I would try that one. I load all game isos of external hard drive. My PS2 laser burnt out after years of strain. I would look into getting an external hard drive. Many benefits, imo.

not familiar with neogamma. Use force NTSC if you have a NTSC wii trying to play a PAL game.

what brand dvd-r are you using? I've tried most of them over the years. For game backups(wii/PS2) I only use Taiyo Yuden discs, imgburn at 4x. I've only had 1 coaster in 3 years.
