Anyone else down sh*t creek. Did a Factory, reinstalled the FW and when searched the box - no sport, movies, lifestyle, kids, music etc.
anyone else in the same boat? any ideas
i know somebody launched a HD service today but dont know its all linked in to the outage ....

Does it not find the channels at all or not decode them ?
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Don't panic just yet! Go to MENU > Key in 1570 > Turn keycode ON > Exit back out. Any joy?

I think its something more, tried re-flashing from the 6th June release and even at the search theres nothing coming through. keycode is on and refreshed. I haven't heard much activity so I presume its not a complete outage so far so im holding out hope on that but i'll keep cracking away....
If anyone knows anything, let us know...:)

There was a subsequent fix to this one released on 23.06.09, try flashing this one and see how you get on. If you're not getting any channels at all just make sure all your connections are sound.

Why did you need to do the factory reset to begin with? Were you getting all the channels ok previous to this?

No. They all prompted me with no signal. When I tried to reflash and search again it said no new channels so factory restore cleared the guide so I could start from scratch

Beyond making sure your cable connections are correct and that you're not using any splitters when scanning I'm not sure what to suggest selas..sorry!

have ya tried putting the cable back into your telly to see if your getting your normal chans? If you are not then your service is down, if you are, could your digital service is down, did you ring your provider to see if there is a fault in the area?
If there isnt, try the box elsewhere, a neighbour etc.
If it still dont work, then your tuner could be goosed
lastly, did you put the cable back into the correct input at the back of the box?

Hi Guys - Newbie here...got hold of a starview 4, had a starview 3 before hand....SV 4 has been working fine since day of purchase but now today all SKY MOVIE Channels are no longer availible. Have no problem receiving other pay channels, problem is just with sky Movies...anyone having this issue, really appreciate any guidance, am hoping its just a case of updating the nag code or flashing the box.
