Don't bother uninstalling a bunch of stuff... you'll more than likely screw something up.

Check out the guide HERE. It has a part about upgrading an already softmodded wii.

Delete the backup launcher from the normal data management.

Delete the Gamecube backup launcher from the normal data management.

If your on 4.0 or below firmware then update your system to 4.1 using the normal Wii update method.

Go HERE and follow the sections in the order I have given below...

IOS DOWNGRADER:

cIOS38_rev14:

IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R6:

After following those 3 sections you should be updated with latest loaders and cIOS.

If you want Game Cube support then follow the Game Cube Support: section and use NeoGamma to boot your Game Cube games just as you would Wii games.

As for your Wii Sports Resort issue look through the Wii forum section there are multiple threads with this issue and they been answered multiple times.

Do you remember the first step? Do it again, but instead of installing HBC choose to install Bootmii.

Hi larry I am following what you told the OP, however during installation of CIOS rev 14 it says all the content and patches were applied/added successfully but then for "Installing Custom IOS, please wait..." it says ">> Install ERROR (ret = -2011)"

What does this mean?

Can someone please help me mod my wii.

Long story short, I have a LU38 Wii. I tried at first to use the guide from this post.

http://wiinewz.com/forums/wii-software-h...-and-files.html

Unfortunately, in step 8 of the guide, I received a CIOS249 NOT FOUND. Installing IO616 Installing title error (ret=-1035) error. This was after I ran downgrade IOS35.

I then spoke with someone else which told me to install the homebrew channel. I was successful at installing the channel. He then instructed me to use this link.

http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs...os-any-wii.html

That gave me a -2011 error. http://www.geocities.com/sportsautographs1/DSCN2332.JPG

Can someone please help? I would truly appreciate it.

Did you previously have your Wii softmodded?
