I have some game fiels but there is no winrar file to unpack it? Any ideas? First time I have come across this problem so got me totally stuck, I normally dont have any problems at all these days until this popped up! Thanks
under the type heading it says 001 file, 002 file, 003 file and so on. None of then are winrar files. I have the par2 files but no winrar file to unpack it.
Those are probably .rar files, you probably just set the default .rar program to something else.
To fix, off the top of my head, i know in windows vista go to
start>Default Programs>Associate a file type or protocol with a program>scroll down to .rar and .r01 .r02 so on so forth and switch them all to WinRAR
Or right click any one of the files>properties and where it says opens with, change that to WinRAR
Just to make sure
To extract the .iso file, highlight all the files you downloaded, and right click, then select "extract to *********/" Where ******* is the name of the iso, for example, "extract to Madden09/" or "extract to halo3/" The iso should extract to that same folder or location under a new folder also with *******. From there you can uses your .iso burning software like img burn.
can someone help i have files 001 through to 0.73 i do not get the option to extract with winrar just compress i have other files that have been winrar so do not know what to do
