Wii chipped with wiinja deluxe stopped playing most disks?

Hi,

I hope someone can help me I have a wii chipped with the wiinja deluxe which I think I have updated with the v4 firmware but I'm not sure how you confirm this.

The wii is running software ver 3.1E

It still plays all origionals OK but I get unable to read disk with almost all my backups - I thought the chip had simply broke or I'd broken it doing an update but I've found one backup it plays fine (sadly it eledee's which is a terrible game but hey).

I thought it was being fussey over which media I was using (even though it used to work ok) but I've now tried :-

Imation DVD-r
Verbatim DVD-r
TDK DVD+r
maxell DVD-r

All of which give me the same unable to read disk error?

Can anyone give me a hand or suggest something I could try next?
