hello

I bricked my hitachi drive when I tried flashing it through jungle flasher. JF froze during the flash =( I was able to dump the firmware though.

I just bought a benq drive to spoof. I am planning on making the custom firmware through jungle flasher then using DOS(NFTS4DOS) to do the flash as I have flashed many sammys and benqs this way.

My question is I know I have to load the original firmware .bin into where it says source. But what ixtreme firmware do i use to put into the "target" box.

Is it the hitachi custom firmware? Then I use the manual spoof option? or is it the benq custom firmware and I use the manual spoof??

Thanks guys!

Load original Hitachi firmware into source.
Load IX 1.6 for BenQ into target.
Click spoof source to target.
Save custom firmware.

I noticed when i do manual spoof it gives me two different drive options for the benq. Do I not need to worry about that doing it like you said?

You don't want to do the manual spoof option. Just follow my first post.
