if you test your connection and it errors out, it will tell u to unplug your router and plug it back in, select i already did this, it will retest and MS has a little message on the right for you after it fails again. it says something to the effect of we are aware of this it is happening with _____ (blank isp's) but where they ment to list the isp's it is in code so thats why i asked. not sure if it is everyone who is having this problem or just a select few.

EDIT: I was wrong here is what it says: users may experience difficulties with the following services :<br/><ul><li> Signing into Xbox Live from an xbox console </li></ul> We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

i got this error yesterday and thought i was banned, but whe i check thed code i wasn't. so i reset my router and i was good to go. i also got ms's little love note yesterday too, so whatever it is they are having problems with this is day two of it.
