When you unbricked it, what firmware did you install? Recovery mode is only available on CFW. Did you install an earlier, homebrew compatible official firmware? Maybe the games you are trying to run can only work on newer CFW.

alright i had this same problem with my PSP 1000 its a problem with the M33-4 Firmware, first you need to run DAX's Leda (i did and it worked) and the get the update to M33-6 where this problem is fixed, it was an internal coding Error... But yea, it happened to me many times

the reason that this doesnt work is because you have to have an eboot there for it to run... if you dont have the Recovery Flasher there... it wont run and you will get it over and over again...

http://downloads.exophase.com/109/psp-custom-firmware-500-m336/ this goes in the psp game UPDATE folder if you don't have them make them. UPDATE folder in the game folder in the psp folder and run it as you would a game, this will install 5.00m33-6 over 5.00m33-4, if you want to run PSX/PS1 games you will need to follow this link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/767509

Alright, First, Disable all Plugins, this causes problems with it... Second, Put the File you will download Here and place it in the GAME Directory, (before all of this Make sure you have a CLEAN Firmware to go by here... and by clean i mean possibly Untampered... i got a Bad 5.50 Update eboot and bricked it...)

After the Fresh install of the Firmware, and the running of the file, you should be allowed to Update the Firmware to m33-6. it has worked for me...

PSP Phat: 5.00M33-6, Time Machine Running 1.50, 1.50+3.40, 3.40, 4.01M33, 5.00M33-4 So-on and So Forth

PSP Slim: 5.00M33-6 Screen Cracked... FUSA and Composite Cables... HAHAHA
